How Do Tower Fans Work?

When warmer days roll around, a tower fan is an essential device to cool down any space.

Most tower fans work by withdrawing air via discreet side vents, which is then pushed out the front of the unit.Whena breeze is circulating throughout the room, it may help to lower the temperature.

Pedestal fans, however, use spinning blades to cool the air that passes through them. As effective and affordable as they are, these styles do tend to generate more noise than their bladeless alternatives.


How to Clean a Tower Fan?

Regular cleaning and maintenance could help to prolong the life of your tower fan and encourage it to continue to work effectively.

As dust and dirt can accumulate on blades and vents, take the time to thoroughly wipe these components with a microfibre cloth. You may need to unscrew panels to access these parts, so be sure to do this when it’s unplugged.

You could also use a hoover with a brush attachment to remove any dust.

To clean the exteriorsurfaces,wipe your tower fan down with a surfacecleaner.
