Garden Rollers

A garden roller is used to create a level surface for laying lawns, paving slabs and decking areas. To use one, simply walk behind the roller, pushing the weight in front of you. The weight of the roller will flatten the soil, creating a flat and level surface. Work in lines and bear in mind that particularly bumpy areas may require you to go over them more than once. Many models consist of a hollow roller which can be filled with water or sand, making it far easier to move the garden roller around when not in use.
