How do you remove drawers from a chest of drawers?

Start by pulling the drawer out as far as it will go. If you feel resistance, there might be a release mechanism. Check the sides of the drawer near the runners for levers or tabs to press. If there aren’t any, you might just need to give the drawer a little lift or tilt to free it from the track. Gently slide it out, and voila! Just be careful, especially with heavier drawers, and you’ll have them out in no time.

What can you put on top of a chest of drawers?

Chests of drawers are usually sturdy and can handle a bit of weight. There are numerous ways you can use the space on top of them. Some people like to keep the area clear of clutter so they can set down clothes or books or any other items temporarily. Others really like to decorate the top of a chest of drawers with keepsakes, jewellery boxes, lamps, mirrors and other accessories. It's really up to you and what you need.
